Central Florida - Monroe Harbour Marina on Lake Monroe is part of the St. Johns River. Ashore, Historic Downtown Sanford with its shops and historic buildings are a few blocks away. Sanford's RiverWalk, meanders along the lakeshore on both sides of the marina.  Developers are also continuing with the construction of magnificent waterfront town homes and condominiums and brightly painted riverfront shops and restaurants. Our central location also means easy access to the Orlando area's world famous attractions, as well to Daytona and the beaches.

The Sanford boating community is fortunate to have two other fine marinas. Boat Tree Marina is at the Port of Sanford on the West side of Lake Monroe. Sanford Boats Works is on the East side of Lake Monroe at Government Cut near State Road 415 Bridge.   

Monroe Harbour Marina is the first to become Florida's marine facility to achieve Clean Marina, Clean Boatyard and Clean Retailer designations! This is an accomplishment that makes us proud.

Florida’s marinas currently provide services to thousands of boaters using state waters daily. The effects of year-round boating activities contribute to constant and growing pressure on Florida’s sensitive aquatic and marine ecosystems. In response, the Clean Boating Partnership, which includes the DEP, Marine Industries Association of Florida, Florida Sea Grant Program, United States Coast Guard and Coast Guard Auxiliary, developed the Clean Marina Program to help marinas, boatyards and boaters protect Florida’s waterways using simple environmental practices that prevent pollution.
